This is what each phase of our Creative Process look like:

PHASE 1

The first phase is to gather information. There are many factors taken into consideration when starting any web site project. We make sure to ask you the right questions (purpose, goals, target audience, etc) to ensure that we understand your business and its specific needs. Final part of this initial phase: The Creative Brief.

PHASE 2

Using the information gathered from the Creative Brief, we then develop an action plan and timeline that will help serve as a roadmap for the final creative deliverable. Our team then develops the information architecture (site map) for your web site. This is an essential first Phase to developing a consistent, easy to understand navigational system. It is also the time for deciding what technology should be implemented: We generally recommend WordPress as it is the most used, and the most user friendly. In this phase we also set the timeline and milestones for your entire web site development project.

PHASE 3

Content development is usually one of the most complex, and important tasks. Many companies don’t take content strategy seriously, but it is a vital part of your web site development project success. If your website content is out of date, or off-brand; you can be missing a huge opportunity to attract and convert customers online, and may actually be losing potential customers. PHASE 4

This is the phase where we develop the front end of your site, and ensure that the look and feel of the website matches your brand. PHASE 5

This is generally the most time-intensive phase, and is where the web site creation actually happens. It includes: slicing images from PSD files, coding templates in the appropriate XHTML and CSS, javascripts (jQuery) for drop-down menu selections, sliders, modal windows, etc, CMS theme development, PHP functions like images and thumbnail handling, custom widgets, forms, etc, plug-ins: installation & configuration, SEO enhancements: titles, meta tags, permalinks, etc. This phase builds the site functions you’ll need to be successful.

PHASE 6

Once the CMS becomes functional, we move on to content entry. We will load most content into the CMS and also teach you how to load and modify content as needed. In addition to raw text, we will also be loading quality photos, graphics, tables, PDFs and other downloadable files onto your website.

PHASE 7

This is where the migration to the actual server takes place. Once we ensure complete functionality of the web site (forms, scripts, plug-ins) we will then transfer the site to be ready to go live. Any final browser compatibility issues will also be checked out. Only after intensive quality assurance and your final approval the web site is launched, and made live to the public.

PHASE 8

Maintenance is necessary in order to keep your web site updated and working correctly. Our team will continue working together with you to update and maintain the information on your web site, and to fix any bugs that may occur over time, ensuring that your website continues to run smoothly. We provide 90 days of free maintenance and then offer low cost maintenance plans to ensure your website always performs flawlessly.
